This is the most incredible chair and ottoman! In the style of the ever so popular post Mid-Century Modern designer Milo Baughman and so unique. The chrome tube frame is reverse cantilevered and very heavy and solid. The chair itself will recline with the weight of your body and will even go totally flat, although I don’t know why you would want to do that. And the biggest surprise of all is the ottoman converts to a chair, just in case you need extra seating! This is so wonderful for today’s small homes. Plus, this post Mid-Century design wonder is a feast for the eyes. Low slung and just lovely. It is in wonderful vintage condition. There are some stains on the original hopsack fabric which we have not tried to remove and a little fading. Although there are no holes or worn spots on the fabric and the set can be used as is, I can see how wonderful it would be in a fabulous new fabric. The chrome is in awesome vintage condition. We have been unable to find any makers marks and extensive online searches have only turned up one other chair like it which was called a Morrison chair. It came to us directly from a Mid-Century architect’s home where it had been since it was new.
