Handsome centerpiece mid-century modern stainless-steel half sphere bowl on a mahogany wood plus sign or cross stand. This piece seems to be artist made but is unsigned. It is in wonderful vintage condition but not without signs of its age. Please see photos. Circa mid-20th Century.

Description

We are really loving this creation here at the shop. We believe it to be artist made and from the mid-20th century. It is such a beautiful sculptural centerpiece bowl. The half sphere was most likely machine stamped but hand finished. It is stainless steel but magnetic stainless steel. Which just means it has less chromium or nickel. The base is shaped out of solid mahogany. Two cross pieces are scooped out to accept the spherical bottom of the bowl. It will look awesome on your dining room table. Or maybe your coffee table or hall console. Leave it empty or fill it with fruit or decorative objects. Just make it yours!
