Description

This vintage mid-century vase is so incredible!!! Very large, 11 inches tall and 9 inches across at the applied drip handles, and the most beautiful clear amber glass. Although commonly mistaken for Blenko it is not. And although commonly mistaken for Wayne Husted, it is not. It is Empoli Glass from the Empoli region of Italy and I am told a bit more rare in this color than the common green most times seen in this design. It has the most amazing applied drips of glass but the pontil is not polished. There are 4 drips applied as decoration and 2 drips applied as handles. This fabulous mid century vase is in wonderful vintage condition with no chips, cracks or chiggers that we have detected.
