What in innovative and fabulous desk attributed to Peter Løvig Nielsen and designed circa 1960. It is sometime also attributed to Jens Quistgaard for Løvig and my extensive online research did not clear this up. Although the only references to it being designed by Quistgaard are by other sellers of an identical desk. Whoever designed it, it is incredible and features a stepped-up cubby top for a single workspace for one; but, that top is hinged and flips down to expand the work surface to accommodate a two-person workspace in a partner desk style. Or, use it as a dining table – what a great versatile piece for our smaller living spaces today! Doubles as a desk or dining table. This one is circa 1972 and in really wonderful condition. It does have a small chip on one of the corners – please see photo. It does retain two original keys but has only one of the removable cubby drawers. I just know you need this piece of marvelous mid-century modern designed furniture in your life!
