This is a wonderful, vintage mid-century modern modified slipper style chair with a low frame, featuring a gorgeous walnut apron, round tapered walnut legs that are straight in the front and angled outward in the back. It has an attached wide seat cushion on top of coil springs, button detailed seat back, and it wears a lovely coral frieze fabric that we love; however, it has some wear as you would expect with a vintage piece, and the padding is a bit stiff so some may want to reupholster. But just think of the endless options! It has very low arms; hence, the “modified” slipper style and the seat cushion is deep and wide. We would call this more of a conversation chair rather than a relaxing chair and it will look wonderful in a corner of your bedroom or dressing area or at the front door in the entry for a convenient spot to remove your shoes.
