We are so in love with this table! We stumbled across this piece and had to have it. Purchased originally by a designer for a client but it turned out to be too large for the space; so, was never installed. Now we can offer it to you. Comprised of a minimalist chromed solid ¾ inch square steel structural frame that accents the ends of the tabletop and is joined by a central support that rests on the floor. The top is 3-3/8 inches thick and is covered in a gorgeous oak veneer which is stained a warm and wonderful deep coffee brown almost black color. The combination of the minimalist chrome base and chunky dark top is simply stunning.
Designed in 2001 by the famed Paolo Piva (1950-2017) who is considered one of the most successful international designers and architects. Piva designed not only for B and B Italia but for many renowned furniture companies and impressive buildings.
Obviously, this would be a fantastic dining table but imagine it too as a wonderful desk. You must have it. You must make it yours.
