Just look at this little beauty!! It has potential to be used as an outdoor or indoor bistro table, a lamp table, a bar stool, or maybe you envision it somewhere else? Lots of possibilities! Comprised of spun fiberglass webbing which somewhat mimics the look of wicker but, with a much more modern approach. So often pieces like this are Attributed to Russell Woodard, and throughout the design community there are debates and discussions as to what in fact defines a Russell Woodard piece, but in fact he NEVER produced spun fiberglass furniture. He worked mostly with iron and aluminum furniture. That being said, what we DO know about this piece in addition to the fact that it is DEFINITELY NOT Russell Woodard is, it is DEFINITELY mid-century modern, it is DEFINITELY spun fiberglass, and it is DEFINITELY sought after and SUPER COOL. Whatever its origins it is a fantastic design and is comprised of spun fiberglass webbing which somewhat mimics the look of wicker but with a much more modern approach. We have painted this piece a gorgeous rich black and it looks amazing! The smoked glass top is 36” in diameter and a quarter inch thick and it has a comfortable footrest w/a flat polished edge, so your toes don’t dangle at dinner. AND THERE ARE OPTIONS! If you don’t think you want the glass top because you prefer to use it as a bar stool, that’s ok! We have taken a photo of it with a pillow that we would include instead… OR, maybe you want to take advantage of its versatility and we will gladly include both the smoked glass top AND the pillow…you can specify upon purchase…we have priced accordingly.
