This is a wonderful teak Gentleman’s chest or cabinet comprised of a gorgeous teak frame featuring two double height vertical tambour doors, adjustable teak shelves on the top, two fixed shelves on the lower right and four stacked drawers on the left side behind the lower tambour door. The lower shelf walls are lined with cedar which we feel was added by a prior owner. There is adequate storage for linens, books, or anything that needs to be stowed away and it has a fantastic, clean appearance. The tambour doors are a wonderful feature as you can gently glide the door open to expose the shelves to your desired preference. It is going to be fabulous in your den, home office, or bedroom dressing area. There is plenty of room for belts, shoes, and clothing or use it in the office or study to store books, documents, and office supplies. It has a quintessential Scandinavian Modern or Danish flair, and it is ready to grace your home with its simple but oh-so-stunning style! Awesome vintage Scandinavian Modern teak double height vertical tambour door Gentleman’s chest or cabinet. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. There is a bit of sun fading to the top portion of one side of the cabinet. We used Danish oil and blended and it can barely be seen. Please see photos and zoom in for details. We attempt to portray any imperfections. Circa, Mid to Late 20th Century.
