Fabulous primitive painted pine wooden antique industrial standing plan desk. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. It is in excellent primitive and rustic condition and let’s just call any imperfections…patina.  Solid as a rock sturdy shape with lots and lots of great patina including nicks, dings, scrapes, holes, peeling paint…you name it, it’s got it. Please see photos and zoom in for details. We attempt to portray any imperfections. Circa, Late 1800’s.

You know what they say… With age comes BEAUTY!! And this primitive wooden antique standing desk is just that… a REAL beauty with a  very interesting past. It originally started its life as a plan desk in a foundry in the late 1800’s. Western Foundry & Machine Works to be exact in Topeka, Kansas. This is a fabulous, historic piece of Americana that can be used in many ways ……. An entry hall, kitchen, library, den, or home office……let your imagination soar! It is sturdy and solid as a rock! With its sizeable work top, this desk would be perfect for someone that needs a lot of space for design work such as an architect or building planner. There’s all kinds of space for drawings and laying out large, broad plans. It has two drawers for office supplies and a nice large half circle cut out where you can put your favorite office chair in case you get tired of standing. It’s rustic, it’s distressed, it’s antique, it’s also industrial… and it needs to be yours!!
