Description

This is the perfect little personal make-up vanity! Drexel has been known for making incredible excellent quality furniture for decades and this vanity from their Compass Collection is no exception. Comprised of what looks like a single drawer with a brass drop pull and petal escutcheon night table or console table when, in actuality, it has a lift top which when lifted exposes a mirror on its underside and a compartment for make-up and jewelry. This piece has beautiful detail and a warm and wonderful wood finish and graining. It has no stretcher on the front to accommodate chair and knee placement and the front has a small indentation for more knee room.  Additionally, the back is finished so it can be placed away from the wall. Although it is part of the Compass Collection, it does not have a strong campaign style as do the other pieces in this collection with their brass corner accent braces. This lovely vanity could have a little Art Deco or Hollywood Regency flair in my opinion. If you are one who likes matching pieces, we do have two chests from this same collection listed as well. Maybe you need all three!
