Description

What a handsome pair! Sometimes you just need a simple little pair of chairs. Nothing fancy, just good looking, sturdy and serviceable chairs. Whether for adding as additional seating at your dining table, at a breakfast nook table, in an entry, bedroom or den. Just attractive and easy to move. Here they are. Two wooden side chairs by the Holman Manufacturing Co. in original vintage condition. Comprised of walnut angular frames with bowtie back slats, round tapered legs, and upholstered seats.

The Holman Manufacturing Co. doesn’t have much information about them out there on the internet; however, I did find a few tidbits of information. They were a family owned business in Pittsburgh, Texas from the early 1900s to sometime in the 1990s. It is reported the company was founded by Danish immigrants and passed down through the generations. I have observed that during the mid-century modern era their designs have a definite Danish Modern flair.

Make this pair of wonderful little Danish Modern styled mid-century modern chairs your own.
