Just look at this fabulous 1970s or 1980s slatted back barrel shaped lounge chair. It is currently upholstered in a navy blue based floral fabric that somehow reminds me of the Golden Girls and Florida rooms. But I know with a new fabulous fabric, maybe a neutral mohair or a bold and bright tropical print, it will be phenomenal. The chairs shape is very sculptural. The slats extend from floor to top of chair and around the barrel back and sides. Plus, they are bowed ever so slightly to give it somewhat of a flare at the top. Very reminiscent of the Vienna Arts and Crafts chairs or something done by Frank Lloyd Wright…yet more modern. I know you have just the place for this marvelous lounge chair. Make it yours.

Handsome oak slatted back barrel shaped upholstered lounge chair. It is in wonderful vintage condition. The wood has some age-related marks but nothing that stands out. The fabric, although in good condition, needs updated. Circa 1970s-1980s.
