Description

These awesome Spanish Artes de Mexico Internacionales style round dining tables are part of an amazing find on one of our treasure hunting adventures. We found a complete apartment clubhouse which was furnished in 1970 with all the original furnishings intact. They are remodeling. Silly them. And, we got it all! Please see our other listing for more amazing pieces. Each of these tables is comprised of a 1.5-inch-thick 43.5 inch diameter top with a hexagon shaped pedestal and base. There is a hand carved raised panel on each of the six sides of the pedestal. Simple and wonderful. They are perfect for your Spanish Hacienda. Or, in your Southwestern, country, or mountain home.

Although unmarked, we believe these to be by Artes de Mexico Internacionales, SA as are most of the pieces out of the aforementioned clubhouse.  Artes de Mexico Internacionales, SA imported artisan handmade piece from Mexico to the US exclusively for sale to the trade. FYI to the trade means they were sold only to architect and interior designers and not to the public. This makes their pieces more exclusive so harder to find. In addition to the tag, some of their items were signed by the artists. So, do not confuse them with Arte de Mexico which is a Los Angeles based shop selling, although beautiful pieces as well, production pieces to the public.

I can’t wait to hear how you are going to use this marvelous Spanish style table. Make one yours and let me know. Or, maybe you need both.
