This artwork is almost as bright, beautiful, and bold as its namesake herself! And its gorgeous purples, violets and lavenders are just in time for the Pantone color of the year of Ultra Violet 18-3838. Considered a mixed media piece of acrylic and collage on canvas, it displays collage images of Elizabeth Taylor combined with lettering and abstract acrylic paint and is frame in a contemporary gilt frame. The whole is stunning. This piece was donated to our local Topeka Aids Project fundraising auction sometime in the 1990s. The purchaser is now downsizing their collection and offering this piece for sale. We have yet been unable to locate information about the artist, so this gorgeous piece of art is being offered for its intrinsic value and not due to the artist who created it.
