I have loved this table since the 1970s. Well not this exact one but all the different forms of this table attributed to The Pace Collection. Comprised of five slabs of ¾ inch thick glass. One for the tabletop and four that, along with a single brass plated steel connector, form the pedestal base. Simple. Sleek. Elegant. Perfect dining table to pair with some mid-century modern chairs. Or, use it in your industrial loft with some industrial or sleek and modern chairs. Maybe even use it in a traditional or Hollywood Regency setting in juxtaposition with a set of over-the-top ornate chairs.
The Pace Collection was founded by Irving and Leon Rosen in New York City as a high-end contemporary furniture company which was in business from 1960 to 2001. They offered their fine furniture and services to the contract interior design trade. Their designs were purposefully and distinctly different from Knoll, Herman Miller, Steelcase and other renowned contract furniture companies. Their line of furniture was known for their rich and exotic wood veneers, high-gloss finishes, shiny metals, and glass. Most pieces were made in limited editions or specifically for their elite customers.
This gorgeous table is perfect no matter your design style. You need to make it yours.
