You better buy this guy quick because the longer he is here and I gaze upon him the more likely I am to have to buy him for myself! This incredible and quirky reclaimed metal caterpillar sculpture is by local Topeka, Kansas outsider metal artist Jason Startup. Jason haunts the local scrap metal yards for interesting pieces and parts along with the local metal fabricators for their discarded cut-offs. He then fashions them into interesting a fanciful one-of-a-kind sculptures and chairs. This caterpillar would look awesome in an entryway or a sculpture garden. My mom would call him a woolly worm. We call him fabulous. You should call him yours.
