We fell in love with this when we saw it and knew it was a must have for the shop. This extremely large Chinese fish bowl is beautiful on its own but placing it on a wood stand and then topping it with a round piece of 3/8 inch thick glass makes it dynamite! The porcelain planter has an overall black background with a pink, yellow, and celadon floral design with a few butterflies scattered about. Two large medallions with a white background depicting Chinese warriors on horseback adorn the front and back. The upper rim has a floral design and the interior is decorated with koi. It is simply stunning! You could use this as a center table in your entry. Or, in your living room or sitting room flanked with a pair of larger scale chairs. And it would be equally as incredible as a breakfast table or small dining table……maybe in your sunroom or Florida room. You just need to make it yours.

Gorgeous Chinese porcelain fish bowl with black background on an Asian stand and topped with round glass to create a dining or center table. It is in wonderful vintage condition with normal wear. There are a couple places on the rim of the pot where the glaze was flaking and they have been touched up. Please see photos. Circa mid to late 20th century.
