ABOUT
My mother once told me a story about these gorgeous Hollywood Regency (or are they Art Deco) tables and their unique rose-colored mirrors. Back in the early 1920’s aboard big ocean liners they would use these beautiful rose-colored mirrors because the motion of the ships would make so many people (especially the ladies) feel seasick and when they would go to their rooms to lie down or take a glance in the mirror, the lovely rose tone on the mirrors made their complexion look more rosy and less pale… She also told me stories of the amazing Helena Rubinstein and her furniture inspirations which featured many designs with lucite, plexiglass and rose-colored mirrors. These tables would blend right in with her magnificent collections. Just look at the awesome curves on the legs of the bases!! There is one coffee table and two end or accent tables. Some of the edges have a bit of peel on the mirror but we feel like time has blessed them with extra beauty. Our expert craftsman has recreated any broken or missing pieces in the lucite and they look wonderful. These tables are unique and if they could talk, I bet they would have wonderful stories to tell about their historical experiences. Can’t you just see these in your home? You need to make them yours!
