Description

Your guests will think any drink you serve them from these tumblers is magnificently exotic! Even water! Just look at the way the amber blown glass oozes through the diamonds cut into the metal bands. These awesome brutalist modern drinking glasses and cocktail pitcher were hand-made and designed by the famed Filipe Derflingher in the Mexico City Feders workshop circa 1960s. They are made by hand blowing molten glass from broken bottles into metal cylinders, so it bulges through the geometric openings cut into the metal. Derflingher’s work was well received by the design community. Alexander Girard was so enamored he sourced them as the barware in the La Fonda del Sol restaurant in New York City, which was renowned for its groundbreaking design. This set will look amazing in your bar and will wow your guests and family. You must make them yours!
