Cool set of eight 8-ounce rocks or Manhattan cocktail glasses by Libbey from their Gold Coin Collection U.S.A. as featured in their 1970-71 Premier Catalog as a NEW item. These cocktail glasses are in wonderful vintage condition. The black is almost perfect as are the gold coins. Description

Black and gold and wonderful! How awesome will these be in your bar? This set of eight 8-ounce rocks cocktail glasses, as they are called in Libbey’s Premier 1970-71 Catalog, are a perfect cylinder-shaped tumbler with a nice heavy bottom and adorned with a black textured overlay inserted sporadically with gold coins. The gold coins depicted are both the heads side and the tails side of United States $2.50 Series coins dated 1796, 1841, and 1911. There is a gold horizontal band at the top and bottom of the black overlay and on the rim. They are so retro 1970s yet at the same time so relevant for today’s decors, and in very good condition. You should make them yours.
