MCM Electric Black Metal Cone Freestanding Fireplace by Montgomery Ward Style Preway or Malm

It’s definitely hard to beat!! Well, we have an amazing mid-century modern black electric freestanding cone fireplace from Montgomery Ward dated 1978 to offer to you! It’s model #74-21637M and includes the black front screen, original log set, and long stack. It is in the style of the sought after Preway or Malm MCM fireplaces. I know Montgomery Ward usually had a name brand maker make their appliances and furnishing and then they put their label on them, but our research has not determined who the maker is for this fireplace. It could be and most likely is Preway or Malm. This is such a fantastic alternative to a standard fireplace because you get to enjoy the motions and soft light of the flames, and the warmth of the heater, without the hassle of cleaning up messy wood or charcoal AND there’s no smoke!! Not to mention it’s portable so you can literally put it anywhere. It would be fabulous in a living room, a den, or dining area OR it would be awesome in a sunroom!! How great would it be to have this fireplace in your bedroom? Romantic, relaxing, and super stylish!
