Wouldn’t it be wonderful after a difficult day to plunge yourself into a bed of flowers… the soft petals tickle your cheek as you inhale the sweet smell of the blended bouquet? Ahhhhh, relaxation… Well do we have the perfect pair of chairs for you!! Just look at this unique pair of mid-century modern chairs by Mastercraft for their Holiday Collection! They are in the style of the master of mid-century modern design Adrian Pearsall and they wear their original two-toned green & floral print nubby linen-like fabric, plus they have beautiful arm covers that look like they’ve never been used. They feature a reversible loose square seat cushion, one side features the floral print and the other is solid green, a fixed back cushion, and tapered wood legs with front casters. We even found a square patch of the original floral fabric that we will include in case you ever need a repair! There’s a bit of a gray area between traditional midcentury to mid-century modern and these fall within that gray space. Which also means they will blend in beautifully with many different styles. We can just see these chairs in a mountain abode or traditional style home, but they will look equally as awesome in your industrial loft or in a modern country style setting. They would also be wonderful in front of a fireplace in your cabin! Who needs their sweetie to bring fresh flowers home when you have this fabulous floral seating to enjoy? What are you waiting for? Make them yours!!
In 1941, the Katzman family, owners of Mastercraft Furniture, opened a 140,000-square-foot-factory near 13th and Nicholas Street in Omaha. For 62 years, Mastercraft Furniture produced mid- to high-end furniture and sold it to stores in nine states. The company sold in 2003 and Bob Grinnell discovered it and purchased it in 2005. The Mastercraft building was repurposed into a creative center in the heart of Omaha: Millwork Commons. This particular Mastercraft is not to be confused with the Mastercraft Furniture that was sold to Baker in 1974.
