Description

Although we do have the dining table as well as the chairs, we are selling the set of chairs separately because we think they look fabulous around any mid-century modern table you would choose to put them around. This set consists of one arm, captain, or host chair and five side chairs. They are in wonderful condition. Their original finish on the walnut wood is great. We did remove one layer of upholstery on the seat cushions to reveal what we believe is the original Lenoir Chair Company incredible blue and green upholstery fabric with its stylized fleur de lis design. It is awesome and in great condition. The Brasilia collection was introduced at the Seattle World’s Fair in 1962 and drew its inspiration from the architecture of the new and majestic Capital of Brazil, Brasilia. The brochure for Brasilia by Broyhill Premier says……..”Brasilia…the city…by its daring and beauty has revolutionized architecture and opened vast new horizons of design. From this inspired dream, Broyhill Premier drew inspiration for the furniture grouping which bears the fine young name: BRASILIA.” This is just one of several pieces we have listed or will soon. You should make them yours.
