Description

We love this beautiful mid-century modern draw leaf dining table! But it sure has stumped us. We obtained it from an estate where it was paired with Conant Ball dining chairs from the ModernMates collection designed by Leslie Diamond (which were misattributed for years to have been designed by Russel Wright). And it sure looks fabulous with them. However, the table is not marked. That still did not bother us as Conant Ball was a little sloppy when it came to marking their pieces even mismarking them which led to the Wright misattribution. So, we began a search to identify this table. We have not been able to find one identical. It has similarities to Conant Ball dining tables from the ModernMates collection such as the legs and woods used but we could not find a draw leaf table in that line. It is also in the style of many Scandinavian Modern extending dining tables, but the woods do not correspond nor does the joinery. So, there you have it. It is a gorgeous table, that at some point was restained, of unknown origin. We love it. It will be beautiful in your dining room or breakfast nook. And it is perfect for a small space since it is on the smaller side until expanded. We know you have fallen in love as we have. Make it yours.
