Mid Century Modern Lane Alta Vista Oak Expanding Dining Table

$2,795

SKU 414-TBL-112 Category Tag

Handsome mid-century modern oak veneer expanding dining table from Lane Alta Vista. It is in fabulous vintage condition. There were small spots to the finish on each of the four corners from having plastic dots which padded a glass top that was on the piece for years. We have repaired those marks. Otherwise, it retains its original finish. Please see photos. Circa 1974.

Description

This incredible Lane dining table is a sight to behold! It has the most gorgeous graining in the oak veneer which is stained a beautiful dark walnut. The top has wonderful rounded corners and a thick two-inch edge profile. It expands with one or two leaves with the leaves also having that thick two-inch profile. And their striking veneer runs the opposite direction as the main top making a handsome contrast. Resulting in the table looking complete and magnificent in three sizes. Now for the legs! Wow. There are two V-shaped pedestal legs on either end. They are comprised of two oak frames which are hinged together in the middle forming that V. So, for ease of shipping the top can be removed and the legs folded. Incredible! This table is late mid-century modern perfection. You must make it yours.
