This mid-century modern tuxedo style sofa with its tufted tight back sitting on a beautiful walnut base with six legs has me puzzled. It looks like it is in the style of T. H. Robsjohn-Gibbings…..but not quite. Maybe in the style of Edward Wormley…..not quite. How about Harvey Probber…….no not quite. Is it by Dunbar? Maybe Widdicomb? Or how about Thayer Coggin? Just can’t find one exactly like this one because the bad news is, it has no label. The good news about that is, it has no label because it has been newly and beautifully reupholstered in a sleek brown dot pattern on a black background fabric. I’d say the fabric is on the commercial side of fabrics and the sofa is circa 1960 and full of sass and style and ready to use. Perfect for your home, loft or office.
