This is an incredible piece of furniture! A cabinet that is dual or double sided to be used floating in a room as a room divider; or, placed where both front and back can be viewed. Comprised of a small 1.5 inch by 1-inch gray painted metal frame, frosted ¼ inch glass sides which operate as doors, a frosted glass serpentine front, and a transparent glass back, with all supported by a base of 4 cylindrical legs and cross bars. The display consists of four transparent glass shelves. The bottom glass shelf maintains a straight back edge but has a serpentine front edge which matches the contour of the front piece of frosted glass; as does the transparent glass top of the cabinet. The three top glass shelves maintain a straight back edge but their front edge is serpentine in the opposite way as the front piece of glass so that a bow in the shelves protrudes through a slot in the front creating a small curved display shelf. Due to the frosted glass front the items displayed inside the cabinet do not show from the front only the items on the open curved shelf can be seen. The opposite is true for the back side. Only the items inside the cabinet can be seen from the back. Needless to say, this is an intriguing cabinet that displays beautifully any items you desire. We have been unable to determine maker or exact age but assume it is 21st century. You must make this treasure yours.
