Wow! This is a gorgeous modern dining table. We had to have it to offer to you. It was produced by Pietro Costantini in Italy and retains its impressed label denoting such. We believe it was most likely imported and sold by Ello Furniture, but it does not have the Ello tag. Its base is comprised of cherry parallel upside-down U-shape square legs running the length of the table and intersecting black lacquered parallel upside-down U-shape square legs running the width of the table. It is topped by a large glass rectangle. Simply stunning! It will be gorgeous no matter your home’s design.
Costantini Pietro began almost 100 years ago in 1922. A great family passion for wood resulted in the beginning of a dream with a small workshop which grew by the beginning of the 1950s into an industry with a wide range of seating and tables destined for distributors and international importers. Their success was built on their belief in Italian quality being about accuracy and details, experience and excellence, skilled craftsmen and control. By the 1980s the brand Costantini Pietro was entrenched and considered synonymous with luxury lifestyle, sophisticated modernity, and furniture to stand the test of time by interpreting the elegant and evolved taste of an international audience. They are still in operation today.
Ello furniture was founded in Chicago by Lothar Molton in 1956, a few years after fleeing Nazi Germany with his family. In 1968 he moved the company to Rockford, Illinois and in 2010 it closed its doors. Ello’s motto was Contemporary Furniture of Distinction combined with Function plus Spectacular Glamour.
Ello’s motto and Costantini Pietro’s belief perfectly describes this breathtaking table. You must make it yours.
