Wow! Just wow! I cannot believe the maker of this gorgeous piece did not sign it. But, alas, it is unsigned. However, it is not without monumental size and beauty. This floor vase or storage jar had to have been proportionally difficult to construct with its very large ovoid shape and thin walled ceramic. Not to mention the uniqueness and delicate look and feel of its eggshell-like glaze. Its rather organic primitive shape and small decorative double handles appear at the same time ancient, tribal, and contemporary. This would look lovely in an entryway or hall whether on the floor or perched on a pedestal. It will be extraordinary in your home. Make it yours.

Handsome monumental sized organic ovoid shaped glazed double handled ceramic floor vase or storage jar. This fabulous piece is unsigned but is exceptionally beautiful and was very difficult to construct, glaze, and fire. It is in wonderful condition. The unevenness and roughness of glaze and shape is purposeful to its design. Please see photos. Circa late 20th century.
