ABOUT
This is one of those pieces I’ve had a hard time deciding what style it is, but I’ve settled on neoclassic French. I pondered Art Deco, but I think that is because of its fabric which was added I’m guessing sometime in the 1980s. Then I pondered Art Nouveau because of its curvaceous shape and those awesome horn shaped wings. But that just didn’t work with the more traditional and delicate carvings on the wood frame. We love the antique white rather distressed finish on the wood frame with its rope and floral carvings, and the taupe and antique white rather contemporary floral tulip fabric. It will be perfect be perfect wherever you decide to use it…in a bedroom or living room and whether you style leans to neoclassic, art deco, modern, or transitional. Just make it yours!
