Pair of Rattan Club Chairs with Fan Backs Vintage in the Style of McGuire

I can just see these on the Lanai. What a wonderful pair of rattan club chairs. The horizontal rattan band that forms the rounded fan shape of the backs and flows into the rolled over arms is so unique. Combine the vertical straight rattan filling in from the chair bottom to the bottom of the horizontal band and they are perfection. The comfy seat cushion is upholstered in a rusty peach/Persian orange colored smooth fabric that is very versatile and will combine well with many color palettes. Although these are not marked, they are similar in style and construction to the wonderful quality of McGuire furniture and came from a home with many other pieces of high quality to-the-trade furnishings including McGuire, Donghia, and Baker. This pair of fun and interesting rattan chairs are in wonderful vintage condition and ready to use. There are some splits between the vertical rattan reeds of the backs from expansion and contraction which I feel only adds to the beauty of their natural material. They are compatible with many many design styles and will go from room to room. Don’t just relegate them to the atrium. You know you want them. They should be yours.
