Description

This is a fabulous piece of wall art. Both contemporary and ancient at once. It is sure to fill that space you have where nothing seems to work. First created from clay by the artist, Joe Sutcliffe, and then sandcast in solid bronze. The work is beautifully done. Each mask he makes is unique and speaks for itself.

Joe Sutcliffe grew up in Western Kansas. After attending college, the Navy, and a 35-year stint in Information Technology, he has retired to make his art. Joe’s mask creations evolved after trips to Africa, Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, and Alaska. Applying wit and irony, they are a commentary on life and the human condition. Joe is also an accomplished photographer.
