What an awesome find!! This coffee table or Brazier table is Spanish Colonial Revival and Rustic with an all-over distressed patina and in the style of Artes De Mexico Internacionales, SA. Some research points to it being used as a firepit but we think it would also be wonderful holding a plant or flowers or maybe some decorative glass orbs. It has gorgeous handmade detail including a hand hammered rusted steel large center bowl with raised nail head design around the rim and two handles. Plus, additional handmade steel tabletop detail including round steel emblems around the center circle and large and smaller round medallions and four-point stars along each section of the octagon… it is truly a sight to behold! The table has an all-over distressed patina which we think makes it even more beautiful and it’s 2-tiered with SIXTEEN chunky legs or columns, two at each point of the octagon. These legs are supported by a lower solid wood octagon which is itself supported by sixteen ball feet. The lower octagon gives the impression it is intersecting the full leg. It’s a stunning feature! This coffee or Brazier table will be perfect in your Hacienda styled home or with your modern country, southwestern, industrial, or eclectic designed living space.
Artes de Mexico Internacionales, SA imported artisan handmade piece from Mexico to the US exclusively for sale to the trade. FYI to the trade means they were sold only to architects and interior designers and not to the public. This makes their pieces more exclusive so harder to find. In addition to the tag, some of their items were signed by the artists. So, do not confuse them with Arte de Mexico which is a Los Angeles based shop selling, although beautiful pieces as well, production pieces to the public.
This gorgeous coffee table is a one-of-a-kind unique piece. We are completely in love with its fantastic Spanish Revival, Rustic and all-over distressed patina and know you are as well. Make it yours!!
