We were so excited to find these Hecho en Mexico Spanish Colonial style dining chairs with rush seat we could barely contain ourselves. Well actually the complete find was a 1970s apartment complex clubhouse still using its original furniture and décor. They are remodeling. Silly them. But, we saved it all!!!
These chairs are comprised of a solid hand carved wood frame with natural rush seats. The wide top rail is carved with a center arch and adorned with four large hand hammered nail head details. There is one center rail in the back and the turned side rails become the back legs. The turned front legs and back legs are connected by both an apron rail and a foot rail on all four sides. Add the natural rush seats and you have a perfect dining chair for your Hacienda styled home or around your primitive dining table in your industrial loft. They will also be incredible in your Southwestern, western, country, or mountain home.
Although most of the other furnishings we obtained with this set are marked with the Artes de Mexico Internacionales, SA tag and name, these are marked with a black oval ink stamp saying Hecho en Mexico. We have been unable to determine if these are from the same supplier. It doesn’t change that fact that this set of eight gorgeous Spanish style dining chairs are fantastic and should be yours.
NOTE: They are priced per chair and only 4 remain.
