Stemlite Floor Lamp by Billy Curry for Design Line White with Smoke Glass Globe

This circa 1969 Stemlite by Billy Curry for Design Line is so reminiscent of Saarinen’s tulip table with its slender white enameled metal base. This one has an eight-inch smoke glass round globe atop the 36-inch-tall base. It is in wonderful vintage condition. Has a few nicks and scratches in the enamel as you would expect but nothing that stands out. This lamp is such a splendid example of mid-century modern design at its best. You should add it to your collection.
