Holy honeycomb Batman!! Are these not the most awesome and beautiful and funky and fun wall sconces!? They are from the Honeycomb Collection of lights by Moe Lighting and circa 1960s. Comprised of a brass plated round escutcheon and arched arm which hold the socket that is cover by a white opaque glass cylindrical globe. The globe is then covered by a honeycomb plexiglass shade in two contrasting color horizontal bands with brass plate top and bottom ring and vertical trim pieces. The shade is shorter than the glass diffuser allowing it to show at the top and bottom. The whole is nothing short of fantastic! We have one in the emerald-blue color combo and one in what we are pretty sure is tangerine-gold, but it could be cranberry-pink. However, we think it looks red-gold. We have priced them as a pair; however, we will consider selling a single. Just ask.
Moe Lighting has quite the history and story but way too long to try to relay here. You should give them a quick online look. But they have been around since the early 20th century and are best known for their Atomic Sputnik ceiling light so sought after today.
These sconces are beyond magnificent and should be yours.
