ABOUT

Small but mighty! Small in stature but mighty in style. That perfectly describes this lovely petite Art Deco swivel chair made by Oxford Ltd. of Chicago circa early 20th to mid-20th century. It retains its fabulous embroidered white leather (or is it leatherette-we cannot tell for sure) upholstery which covers the complete chair including its round swivel base. The body of the chair, the loose back pillow, and seat cushion are all highlighted with an off- white velvet welt cord and the pillow and cushion have a tailored button detail. The embroidered design of a lovely winding vine and leaf pattern tops off the dressmaker details in this divine diminutive chair. It is THE perfect boudoir chair. Make it yours.

the details

Lovely petite Art Deco swivel chair in white embroidered leather by Oxford Ltd. of Chicago. It is in wonderful vintage condition. The leather/leatherette has lots of patina including crazing and cracking but no holes. We have cleaned it and love the natural age patina but if you like a perfect like-new piece…this is not for you. If you like warm perfectly worn you have found it. Please see photos.
