Gorgeous vintage Campaign or Chinoiserie dark green painted modified Parson’s nesting tables with chartreuse leather tops two sets of 2 tables by Kittinger Furniture. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that these are vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. These have been taken apart, re-glued, and repainted in their original dark forest green. They still have an aged look, and the leather tops have plenty of beautiful age patina to their purposeful crazed leather including some dents, dings, scratches, & scrapes. Please see photos and zoom in for details. We attempt to portray any imperfections. Circa, Early to Mid-20th Century.

You are about to make your friends GREEN with envy when they see your vintage dark green nesting tables with chartreuse leather tops!! Made by Kittinger Furniture, this set of four (or 2 sets of 2 larger and 2 smaller) Campaign or Chinoiserie style nesting tables are comprised of newly painted dark green frames with straight legs and fantastic chartreuse green leather tops. The leather on each table has a crazed or crackle design with a double heart detailed dividing line that creates squares (9 on the larger and 6 on the smaller) and tulip and swirl edges giving them a lovely and unique appearance. They are a modified Parson’s style as the two larger nesting tables have stretchers on the sides and back. As everyone knows, one of the awesome features of nesting tables is that they are VERY versatile! The smaller table slides under the larger table, and you can arrange them however you like or what is fitting for your space. Put a set of two on either side of your sofa as a pair of end tables, use them vertically like step tables, or split them up and use all four in different areas…. And that’s just a few options!! The possibilities are as endless as your imagination!!
The Kittinger Company is an American maker of traditional colonial reproduction furniture that was founded in 1866 by entrepreneurs George and Oliver Colie. They opened a paper factory in the booming city of Buffalo, New York and soon after began manufacturing upholstered furniture and the business took off. In 1885 they opened a furniture plant which produced magnificent hand-crafted furniture in classic 18th century style. Due to mismanagement and legal issues, the plant was forced to close, but in 1996, a Master cabinetmaker named Ray from Kittinger, and Karen Bialkaowski purchased it and all of its properties and quickly re-established the company. For over 150 years, The Kittinger Furniture Company has set an unparalleled standard among manufacturers of fine furniture. Today Kittinger is known for the high-quality furniture it produces that is featured prominently in the White House.
They’re extremely versatile, made from an iconic manufacturer, and they’re GORGEOUSLY GREEN!!! These four nesting tables are TOO fabulous to let go! So don’t!! Make them yours!!
