Description

What a gorgeous choker necklace and bracelet circa 1990 by Clara Studio Inc. Beautiful brushed gold – tone finish and interesting shapes make this a stunning set for your collection. The bracelet, although not marked, looks to be from the Clara Studio Inc. for Asymmetry series. It has a fabulously fluid asymmetrical curving and twisting form which becomes a magnificent mini sculpture on a wrist. The wonderful choker style necklace is marked with Clara Studio Inc. and the copyright marking. It has what I would call a consistent sized thumbprint overlapping link that is perfectly paired with the matte gold finish. This awesome set is in wonderful vintage condition. The bracelet does have a small spot right on the tip of one of the pointed ends of the cuff where the silver metal is showing through the goldplating. The photos actually make it look much larger and worse than it is in person.

Clara Kasavina and Misha Berger are a husband and wife design team who began Clara Studio Inc. in Long Island City in the 1980’s as an artisan design shop and factory where together they designed and produced belt buckles, eventually branching out to include jewelry and handbags.
