Description

This gorgeous vase is vintage Correia Art Glass. Done at a time before Steven turned the helm over to his son and daughter. This vase has an awesome cobalt and metallic (Is it gold or is it silver? – Who knows! Let’s call it gliver) pulled feather design against a clear base. Just stunning! It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, or chiggers. There are some small scratches to the bottom which do not deter from its beauty. It is signed and dated 1-80-12 meaning January 12, 1980.

Correia Art Glass is a family owned business in Santa Monica, California which was founded in 1973. Using fine sand from the American Southwest, minerals, and precious metals they achieved beautiful designs with color, shape and light. Their pieces are in such collections as Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Smithsonian, Corning Museum, the Chrysler Museum of Art, and the White House.
