Dallas E. John was born on June 29, 1945, in Illinois. He began his artistic involvement while in Berkley by illustrating his own research reports and newspaper articles about planning. He spent time traveling through South & Central America and upon his return to the United States he started a graphic design art profession. In his spare time, he would create original artwork which included silk screen. He is well known today for his rich colors and textured works.
