The opulent brass hardware includes large handles on either side for carrying, butterfly medallion details, large ornate hinges, and a monumental locking mechanism. This drop front desk and storage with its wonderful dove-tail corner joints all sits atop a base of beautifully shaped Asian style feet. It is all one piece for carrying from place to place. This impressive campaign style secretary cabinet is in wonderful vintage condition; however, there is one missing door handle inside the upper desk portion and a water stain to the finish on the top. What a fabulous piece to own and pass down to future generations.
