Description

This fabulous Paul McCobb desk from his signature Two Piece Bookcase Display Cabinet Attributed to Founders Furniture Mid Century Modern by Winchendon was modified early in its life with the addition of a modesty panel. The wood and finish match so well to the original desk it took us a bit of research to decide it was not original. It is an interesting addition which increases the possibilities of its placement. Of course, it is removable if you so desire. This wonderful desk features McCobb’s distinctive splayed and tapered legs on one end with a floating box containing one file drawer and one storage drawer on the other, along with the natural maple finish and conical bronze tone pulls. It does retain its original label and has a glass protective top. A timeless circa 1950’s classic by an iconic American designer which should be yours!
