So often pieces like this are Attributed to Russell Woodard, and throughout the design community there are debates and discussions as to what in fact defines a Russell Woodard piece, but in fact he NEVER produced spun fiberglass furniture. He worked mostly with iron and aluminum furniture. That being said, what we DO know about this piece in addition to the fact that it is DEFINITELY NOT Russell Woodard is, it is DEFINITELY mid-century modern, it is DEFINITELY spun fiberglass, and it is DEFINITELY sought after and SUPER COOL. Whatever its origins it is a fantastic design and is comprised of spun fiberglass webbing which somewhat mimics the look of wicker but with a much more modern approach.
