AWESOME!!! This ranch oak desk chair by A. Brandt is absolutely AWESOME. It is comprised of rustic solid ranch oak with honey oak finish that is signature to A. Brandt Company furniture. Honey Oak can be identified by the tiny brown specks on the finish. It has a cutout back with dark brown almost black leather cushioned insert and brass nail head design on the front. Simple but oh-so-striking! The seat rests on top of an adjustable painted steel shaft with a front facing wheel shaped handle below the seat that adjusts the tilt and ease or pressure of the lean. At the base of the shaft there is another handle that adjusts the height of the seat. The entire chair is held by a four prong X shaped wood base with casters. This rolling desk chair would be a fabulous addition to your new Covid required home office or your rustic, ranch, western, or mountain lodge.
A Brandt Company was established in 1900 by German immigrant August Brandt. But it was Paul Brandt, August’s son, who engineered and debuted the Ranch Oak furniture in Fort Worth, Texas in 1938. Paul served as company president for approximately 50 years. The production of the Ranch Oak line continued until the mid-1980s. It was used in ranch homes, mountain homes, dude ranches, and basement rec rooms across the nation. The US government contracted Ranch Oak furnishings for many of their military bases. And it was used by National Park lodges plus roadside motels for its attractive, durable, rustic type of décor.
We are sure you must love this adjustable ranch oak desk chair as much as we do, now just make it yours!!
