Description

Holly cow! Look at this guy! We are not sure what to call him we have seen many names describing these Scandinavian figures. We are not sure who made this one exactly, but he is in the style of Hans Bolling. He is comprised of a large plywood turned ball for a body and one smaller for the head, two wood dowels for legs and two big wooden feet and nose. He is covered in faux fur and has a faux fur beard. He has a burlap hat and is carrying a burlap bag over his shoulder somewhat like Santa. He is interestingly large and looks spectacular on a shelf. So whether you call him Gonk, troll, Tomte, gnome, or elf…..you need to call him yours!
