Dynamic. Delightful. And vintage Union National! WOW! These are gorgeous chow leg Ming style nightstands featuring a stunning chinoiserie floral & butterflies design on the front doors and sides of the nightstands which is signed Dimas, and they have an all-over intentional fabulous, distressed patina finish. They feature double doors with brass teardrop pulls on the fronts and they open to storage with a non-adjustable shelf. These nightstands came with a magnificent bedroom set, (which we are also selling here if the pieces are all still available,) But, even without the other pieces, these are fantastic! Can’t you just see them on each side of your bed exuding their exemplary presence, full of ambience and unmatchable chinoiserie and Hollywood Regency style? We can!! Although, if you aren’t necessarily in need of nightstands and you love these, you could use them as accent or end tables in your living room, study, or entry way.
The Union National Furniture Co. of Jamestown, NY., was formed in 1939 from the National Furniture Co., which had been in business since the early 1890’s. Both companies were owned and operated by the Nord family. The Nords made quality high-end furniture. Union National catered to many famous people including William Holden, Jerry Lewis, Lucile Ball, Wayne Newton, and others. The furniture was expensive and brings top dollar to current day. All furniture by Union National was made of quality hardwoods and painted pieces were done by highly skilled artists, such as C. Gaeto. Union National Furniture closed their doors in 1994.
Call them nightstands, call them accent or end tables… But whatever you choose to call them, you simply MUST call them yours!!
