This is a GORGEOUS pair of Art Deco to Mid-Century Modern style nightstands or end tables comprised of very low asymmetrical frames with burl hardwood fronts, a rectangle top with rounded edges, new black plastic sphere knobs on two small drawers with an open square shelf above, a side door with new black plastic sphere knob & ample open storage space inside, and a recessed base featuring a facia/stretcher between the round tapered outward splayed wood legs. WOW… what a couple of GEMS!!! We think they are most likely European and we BELIEVE the top & sides to be composed of maple, the interiors & inner door to be mahogany, and the fronts to be beautiful burl hardwood! WOAH, that’s a lot of fabulous wood!!! These low beauties would be awesome on each side of your bed but they could be equally as fabulous used as a pair of end tables in your family or living room or separate them and use in different rooms. Whatever their use, they bear an EXQUISITE and timeless style you are sure to love for years to come! They may be small in stature but they are BIG on Art Deco to Mid-Century Modern style. Lovely vintage Art Deco to MCM or Mid-Century Modern low asymmetrical nightstands or end tables, a pair. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that these are vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. Specifically, the exteriors have been totally refinished but do still have age related wear and retain their beautiful vintage look. We repaired a few chips in the veneer & they have been given new black plastic sphere knobs. Please see photos, zoom in for details, and see long description as they are part of the condition report.
